Hello. My name is Vicky Chen. I’m a web and graphics designer at AbsolutelyNew by day; would-be illustrator, painter, photographer, blogger and cook by any-other-time-I-can-find. I live in Oakland, CA.

Since picking up my first marker and crayon when I was five to painting with oils and wax at UC Berkeley, my life has always been about expression and translating images in my head onto paper, canvas or the computer monitor.

Creative expression overflows into my cooking, decor, and style – in short, creativity is the story of my life.
